Ely SC Cadets Race at Grafham Youth League 24

A massive well done to the 6 Ely SC cadets who took part in the Grafham SC leg of the Cambridgeshire Youth League. Edward, Fergus, Jashan, Kieran, Louise and Michael joined 19 other sailors from around the county to tackle some very testing conditions. A fresh constant northerly was blowing all day with white caps across the expanse of Grafham Water. Kieran, our most experienced sailor was flying along in his Laser, eventually coming 2nd overall. Hot on his heels Edward had a great day; winning the Under 15 category and 5th overall. Michael was the youngest competitor of the day, completed all 3 races, coming 22nd overall and just missed out on second Under 12 by the narrowest of margins.
