Winter Working Parties

Every Sunday form the 8th January we will be doing the winter working parties which is a get together of all those who are able to help to keep the clubhouse, boats and grounds in good shape. Whatever your abilities, please would you join us from 11:00 through to around 2:00 (or whatever you can manage). There will be hot cups of tea, bacon rolls and soups (and probably other delights) to keep us going. Alan will be sharing out tasks from the long list of jobs - from the usual hacking back of vegetation to clearing (and exploring) the islands, some painting, woodwork, cleaning of boats, and some overdue heavy duty repairs of the berths. So bring your strong boots and gloves, a big coat and hat and any tools you think may be useful (the club has a few as well) and join us for some fun and hard work.
